Job Summary

Develop, design and deliver training programs and accompanying training sustainment strategies, ensuring compliance with legislative requirements and City policies, standards and procedures. 

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop, design and deliver training programs.
  • Coordinate the development of operational standards.
  • Ensure compliance through audits and challenge operational efficiencies.
  • Create training resources and maintain training databases.
  • Prepare, manage and allocate program and training budgets.
  • Functional guidance of part-time staff and volunteers including hiring, training and evaluating.
  • Train and oversee staff

Skills and Qualifications

  • Post-secondary degree/diploma
  • 3-5 years’ work experience
  • Experience in consulting, project management and strategic planning is essential  
  • Must have excellent interpersonal, presentation, problem solving and decision making skills and superior oral and written communication and time management skills 
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and access to a vehicle
  • May require some light lifting of supplies/materials. Exposure to computer keyboards and screens
  • Primarily office environment with short periods of outdoor work

Hourly Rate/Salary: $ 78,602.00 - $ 104,806.00
