Job Summary
This role supports the creation, continuous improvement, and alignment of divisional Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). By partnering with stakeholders across the division, the incumbent helps ensure that processes are clearly documented, consistently applied, and aligned with organizational standards. The role plays a key part in driving operational excellence by promoting efficiency, clarity, and quality in how the division delivers its work.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Develop, review, and support divisional Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Contribute to internal policy development to strengthen operational consistency and excellence.
• Ensure alignment of SOPs across teams to promote standardized guidance and divisional messaging.
• Assist in modernization initiatives and support enhancements that improve efficiency and clarity.
• Coordinate with subject matter experts to accurately capture processes and requirements.
Skills and Qualifications
• Enrolled in a recognized community college program in public administration, business administration, policy studies, or a related field.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and documentation skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication abilities.
• Ability to translate complex processes into clear, user‑friendly procedural documentation.
• Interest in streamlining and improving processes, workflow design, or policy development.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
Hourly Rate/Salary: 20.29 - 24.11
Hours of Work: 35
Work Location: 950 Burnhamthorpe Road West, Mississauga
Work Model : This role follows a hybrid work model, requiring employees to be onsite in the office 3 days per week and allowing remote work for the remaining days. Specific in-office days may be set by the team or department to support collaboration and business needs.
