Job Summary
The City of Mississauga has implemented rebate and grant programs to support residents affected by intense rainfall events. Reporting to the Manager, Stormwater Assets & Programming and functional guidance from the Coordinator, Stormwater Charge Program, the successful candidates will support the implementation and delivery of various rebate and grant programs. This role demands a significant emphasis on data management, customer service, and community engagement. The successful candidate will combine attention to detail, superior organizational skills, and an ability to multitask effectively.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Support the administration of all aspects of the Residential Compassionate Grant, Basement Flooding Prevention Rebate, Flood Resilience Rebate and other related programs
- Provide professional and timely responses to customer service requests, utilizing INFOR Public Sector, and other inquiries from internal/external clients, including property owners, elected officials, external agencies, etc.
- Undertake/coordinate audit inspections of applicants property to verify information
- Maintain program integrity by collecting, analyzing and inputting data into databases and management systems
- Collaborate with City’s IT team to conduct INFOR and associated system testing, ensuring accurate documentation of results
- Develop, create and implement education and outreach content and initiatives to enhance public awareness of the City’s programs
- Other Environmental Services duties as assigned
Skills and Qualifications
- A diploma or degree from a recognized institution in Environmental Studies/Science, Planning, Engineering, Business or a related field
- A minimum of two (2) years of experience in similar program delivery, data management and analysis and customer service. Equivalent combinations of education and experience will also be considered
- Demonstrated expertise in data analysis and management
- Must have exceptional organizational, communication, and customer engagement skills, with a keen eye for detail
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and adhere to simultaneous deadlines
- Proficiency in standard office software, such as MS-Office
- Knowledge of customer, permit or data management software like INFOR Public Sector (Hansen) and Crystal Reports would be an asset
Hourly Rate/Salary: $ 41.93 - $ 55.91
