Job Summary
As a team member in Infrastructure Planning and Engineering Services you will work collaboratively with cross-departmental stakeholders to advance management system plans and visions by driving work plans and initiatives. The positions specifically support the Roads and Stormwater Service Areas towards advancing Infor Public Sector (IPS) and other enterprise solutions for asset management, customer service, work management, infrastructure inventories, permitting and stormwater rate administration and billing.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Support service areas by defining, developing, testing and implementing IPS business system improvements;
- Facilitate workshops and meetings to collaborate on business process mapping and redesign, and present complex information to small audiences in a non-technical manner;
- Provide frontline user support for INFOR and IFI (Infor Field Inspector) and problem solving/resolution, troubleshooting Dynamic Portal, various interfaces and system upgrades;
- Provide SME user support for DOT Asset Investment Planning, eBuilder Project Management and Bynder Data Asset Management tools;
- Prepare project documentation in accordance with City standards (e.g. Work Requests/Requirements, Business Cases, Test Plans, Process Maps, etc.); Support bulk upload processes for business units/clients;
- Design and create reports and management dash-boards using INFOR, Crystal Reports and other reporting and BI tools;
- Create and deliver training/education programs, including the preparation of SOP’s, training videos, user manuals and other documentation;
Skills and Qualifications
- Degree in Computer/Information Technology, System Engineering, or Business-related discipline with a minimum 5 years direct experience in implementing and/or supporting enterprise management systems are required;
- Direct experience related to the implementation of solutions for infrastructure asset inventory, work management, customer relations management, permitting, utility fee/credit administration and billing and related business processes is an asset;
- Demonstrated success in leading business system improvement projects, documenting and analyzing business processes, calculating benefits for proposed changes, presenting solutions, and developing final deliverables;
- Advanced knowledge of Hansen / INFOR Public Sector (IPS) software solution or a similar CMMS Enterprise System is an asset;
- Proficiency in Crystal Reports, SQL, BOE, CMC, Power BI, ESRI are an asset;
- Certifications in Continuous Improvement (e.g. LEAN), Business Analysis; and Project Management are an asset;
- Must be able to provide own means of travel to various locations across the city.
Hourly Rate/Salary: $ 89,464.00 - $ 119,286.00
