This position is responsible for preparing and serving of food and alcohol products, cash handling and maintaining a clean work area.

 

Employment period is from May 10, 2021 to September 30, 2021

Employees can be assigned to any one of the Marinas location  depending on the business operations needs.
Please note: Due to the uncertainty we are facing during the COVID-19 pandemic, the recruitment of these positions is dependent on available vacancies and business operation needs.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Serve customers on an on-going basis.
  • Register all cash sales with accuracy.
  • Balance daily cash out receipts in accordance to Corporate cash handling procedure at the conclusion of each shift.
  • Perform opening/closing duties as assigned on a regular basis.
  • Ensure counters, tables and chairs are cleared and cleaned on an on-going basis.
  • Sweep and mop kitchen floor area each evening at close of business.
  • Dispense and serve alcoholic beverages, as required.
  • Prepare and cook various menu options
  • Ensure patio area is cleared and washed on a regular basis.
  • Ensure kitchen and customer service lounge area are neat and tidy at all times.
  • Clean and wash, facility cleaning, fuel dock assistance, record keeping, data input, dish washing as required.
  • Act as a back-up to the fuel dock (optional)
  • Carry out other duties as assigned.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Must be able to handle a variety of responsibilities relating to a snack bar/lounge operation.
  • Must be able to work on own initiative and be knowledgeable in the handling of money.
  • Customer service focused.
  • Emergency First Aid  CPR "C" certification required at time of hire.
  • Food Handler certificate required at time of hire.
  • Must be Smart Serve Certified
  • Must be a minimum of 18 years of age
  • Must be able to work weekends, holidays and a variety of morning and afternoon shifts (mid- May weekends and in June - September, 30-35 hours per week).
