Corp Fleet Systems Analyst

Job Summary

Reporting to the Manager, Fleet Services, the successful candidate will manage procurement related activities to ensure effective, efficient and timely vendor administration including operational and capital procurements. Coordinate service centre data and systems with corporate systems and external clients to ensure effective contracts are awarded and monitored and statistical accuracy is maintained in all fleet reporting and data retention. Act as the system administrator for the fleet management system (Faster) and fuel management system (Winfuel). 

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the development of all service centre contracts in accordance with established policies and to support the needs of the section and its clients.
  • Act as the contract manager for the service centre with respect to the administration and enforcement of corporate procurement policies. 
  • Coordinates input from all levels of staff and provides support to the service centre in the areas of procurement and the corporate purchasing by- law.
  • Manage corporate fleet assets through the fleet management system (Faster) and fuel management system (Winfuel). 
  • Responsible for maintaining system security, responding to user inquiries and provides technical support when required.
  • Develops and implements various fleet related projects as assigned.
  • Conduct procurement of new or replacement Corporate Fleet Assets. 
  • Other related duties as assigned.
     

Skills and Qualifications

  • A diploma or degree in business administration, procurement, asset management or related program is required.
  • Strong understanding of fleet operations, with a minimum of three years progressive hands on experience in a fleet operations and maintenance environment.
  • Minimum three years experience in procurement, preferably in a heavy equipment, construction or municipal sector.
  • The ability to establish effective working relationships and strong self-initiative is preferred, along with the ability to plan, and establish work processes.
  • Demonstrated technical abilities with proven knowledge of system functionality, experience and comprehensive knowledge of software such as SAP, Faster, Winfuel and Veederoot.
  • Knowledge of MTO licensing renewals and related requirements an asset.  
  • The successful candidate must be goal oriented and well organized with strong project management and analytical abilities to develop and execute procurement projects and fleet system processes.
  • The successful candidate must have people skills, be client service focused, team oriented, and flexible with strong written and verbal communication skills.
     

Hourly Rate/Salary: $ 69,080.00 - $ 92,107.00
