Job Summary

The Operations Scheduling Team is seeking a motivated and detail oriented student to support documentation, research, and administrative functions. This role is ideal for a student interested in operations, business processes, and organizational coordination. The successful candidate will contribute to maintaining efficient workflows, ensuring accurate documentation, and supporting the completion of administrative tasks.

Duties and Responsibilities

•    Support supervisors/managers with daily operational, administrative, and documentation tasks.
•    Perform research and analysis to identify trends, support continuous improvement, and consolidate information using a variety of methodologies.
•    Assist in developing and implementing policies, programs, and operational materials.
•    Maintain efficient workflows through accurate documentation and organized administrative practices.
•    Prepare and draft documents, reports, and tracking tools.
•    Support problem-solving and troubleshooting within the Operations Scheduling team.
•    Conduct data entry, filing, and general administrative duties.
•    Compile and analyze data relevant to operational processes.

Skills and Qualifications

•    Currently enrolled in a university program related to business operations, public administration, or a job related field.
•    Strong interest in operations, workflow coordination, and business process efficiency.
•    Knowledge of municipal government structure and intergovernmental relationships is an asset.
•    May require knowledge of policy planning, research, analysis, and evaluation processes.
•    Familiarity with job related regulations is an asset.
•    Strong customer service skills with the ability to respond professionally to inquiries.
•    Research focused mindset with attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
•    Ability to work with administrative tools and computer systems in an office environment.
•    Ability to perform light lifting and work primarily in an office setting.

Hourly Rate/Salary: 20.29 - 24.11
Hours of Work: 35 
Work Location: Mississauga Transit - 975 Central Parkway, Mississauga
Work Model: This role follows a hybrid work model, requiring employees to be onsite in the office 3 days per week and allowing remote work for the remaining days. Specific in-office days may be set by the team or department to support collaboration and business needs.
