Facility Ambassador

Job Summary


Responsible for greeting patrons and providing directional assistance. Ensure patrons are screened as per COVID protocols and complete contact tracing as required. Responding to general inquires and also required to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for all patrons. 

Duties and Responsibilities

 

  • Greet Event/Recreation Patrons
  • Provide general program information
  • Respond to general inquires
  • Provide directional assistance
  • Ensure patrons are screened as per current applicable COVID protocols
  • Complete COVID contact tracing as required
  • Assist patrons with disabilities and special needs
  • Ensures a safe environment at all times including ready response for public safety by  evacuations for fire, bomb or other threats and medical emergencies
  • Ensure a clean environment is maintained at all times
  • Assist staff with patron stand-by lineups as required
  • Other tasks based on organizational needs

Skills and Qualifications

 

  • Secondary-school diploma
  • CPR/First Aid/AED Certified
  • Light lifting required
  • Working primarily in an event/recreational facility environment

Hourly Rate/Salary: 15.27 - 16.98
Hours of Work: up to 44 
Work Location: Various community centres across the city
