Job Summary

 

Provides customer admissions to aquatic and skate programs, including  processing services and selling swim/skate memberships, scan memberships They are responsible for handling customer inquiries in person and over the phone during their shift.  They are also required to follow all Divisional Cash Handling policies and procedures.

Duties and Responsibilities

 

  • Provides customer service in person and over the phone for customer inquiries during public skate times, Pools and City wide services in a professional and friendly manner
  • Use various forms of communication when interacting with customers on a daily basis
  • Communicate with facility staff to ensure customer’s needs are being met
  • Sells customers pay-as-you-go admissions to public skate.
  • Collecting entrance fees and scanning of memberships from customers during public skate times using CLASS
  • Complete customer cash and electronic payment transactions accurately
  • Printing/reviewing of reports and completing DSR packages
  • Balancing of float and revenue at the end of each shift
  • Follows and adheres to all cash handling policies and procedures
  • Follow and adhere to all Divisional Cash Handling policies and procedures, including building site specific procedures and inventory.
  • Responsible for the preparation of the end of shift/day Daily Sales Reports using CLASS Report Printing.
  • Selling swim/skate memberships during public skate and swim times using CLASS
  • Sells customers concession products during the public skate times.  Concession products include manuals, goggles, drinks and food products

Skills and Qualifications

 

  • Emergency First Aid /CPR B
  • Demonstrated customer service experience
  • Previous cash handling experience is preferred
  • Experience with CLASS POS, Report Printing and Membership Validation and Program Registration (for selling membership passes)
  • Knowledge of WHMIS
